It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! There are Christmas decorations and lights around the town, the Christmas Tree Festival is about to begin and there’s a healthy programme of concerts and carol services ahead of us. Let’s keep everything crossed that all continues as planned.
Whatever may be ahead of us, this month’s magazine certainly brings some added sparkle! There’s sharing of news from all three churches and excitement that we’re now able to socialise a little more. We have a 200 Club report and “the bells are back” with a full update on what’s happening in the Tower. Our clergy each give us a different take on Advent and Christmass, and a chance to pause and reflect.
Alongside this, Pam takes us on a trip to Rouen in France, John shares his Christmases around the world and Adrian takes us on a whirlwind tour of Porthcawl, reminding us of this beautiful town of ours! Thank you too to Pauline for her lovely poem, another opportunity for us to pause and reflect.
As the editor of this magazine, I’d like to close out the year with a thank you to all of our loyal readers. We hope you have enjoyed the magazine throughout the year and that the articles have tickled your fancy! I’d also like to thank everyone who has contributed this year too. I love gathering the varied content and appreciate your support to keep the magazine informative, fresh and fun!
Let’s all look forward to a happy, safe and healthy 2022.
