It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! Although I have to say, it’s quite strange to see election leaflets and posters vying for space with the usual Christmas cards and decorations. As they say, “we live in interesting times!”
And this month’s magazine is full of interesting things – a real mix of content from a “new” organ and “new” bells to reflections about how we view each other to another letter from a dear cousin.
Whilst every contribution is of value whether it makes us think, or learn, or laugh, or cry, once in a while a little gem appears. And this month a little fairy provided us with a copy of the programme from a pantomime produced by people in the Parish. I’m sure it will bring back many memories of the 1992 production. But equally interesting was the fact that this production was based on a previous production in 1910! Fascinating!
Father Geoff has provided an interesting article – unfortunately the images don’t reproduce well in the magazine, so click here to see it in full colour!
A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed this month and throughout the year. As the editor, I really appreciate your support and I hear from so many people throughout the Parish and beyond how much they enjoy reading the magazine. Please do keep up the good work and keep ‘em coming in 2020!
