Greetings and Good News!
The good news, of course, is that we are able to from next week to re-open in a restricted way to allow for private prayer, so that our churches can again be used as they are meant to be.
Our plan for doing this has to be approved by the Archdeacon and there are a number of things that need to be done first with re-arranging seating and so on.
We should probably be able to start on Wednesday.
We need VOLUNTEERS to act as stewards, preferably in pairs, to ensure that proper social distancing is observed – so the thought is to open All Saints Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12.30 to 14.30 , Saint John’s at the same times on Tuesdays and Fridays and St David’s on Thursdays.
Other ideas are welcome!
To Volunteer you need to score 3 or under in the risk-assessment tool Click here
(You cannot volunteer if you or any member of your household has had Covid 19 in the last 14 days or if you are otherwise in a high risk category) If you would like to help, please email the office.
It seems so long ago that we were able to let people in – 17th March – so it will be a great relief to be able to do this, albeit on a limited scale.
I will spend the weekend, with a tape measure in hand, moving chairs and signposting pews.
Every blessing – we will meet again!
