Father Philip Masson was born in Pontypridd in 1952 and ordained deacon in 1978. He was a curate at St Theodore’s, Port Talbot from 1978 to 1982 and then moved to be vicar of Pen-y-fai with Tondu, outside Bridgend. He became Rector of Porthcawl in 1992. Married to Maggie in 1982, he has five daughters.
Fr Mark was born in 1987 and raised in Burnham-on-Sea, on the Somerset coast; as the crow flies not far from Porthcawl.
