It was such a pleasure to put together a diary and events page for this issue of the magazine – at last things seem to be getting back to normal! Fr Mark and Fr Geoff once again give us food for thought, albeit from very different perspectives. And in the midst of the COP26 Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, we’re reminded of the part we all have to play in this global challenge.
John Berry offers us some light-hearted comments from children, whilst the Mothers’ Union, and the three churches provide us with a great round-up of “what’s occurin’”! Isn’t it great to hear of the re-emergence of St David’s Junior Church. And thank you to Pam Rossini for your contributions for All Saints – we’re certainly looking forward to more of your travels in future issues.
There’s news of the Marie Curie Great Welsh Art Auction too – do check out the link and support this amazing charity.
I’m sure, like me, you’re looking forward to the town’s Remembrance Service – being able to share those moments together and remember loved ones who have died and those who sacrificed their lives to ensure our freedom is very special.
Of course, with Christmas just around the corner, I anticipate a packed December issue. Please let me have your announcements, news or stories by 25th November – we don’t want to be late for Christmas!
