Parish Update and Church in Wales website

See Church in Wales website https://www.churchinwales.org.uk/en/clergy-and-members/coronavirus-covid-19-guidance/

All our churches are now closed for public and private worship we hope you have all received the letter ‘Doing Church Differently’ and the sheet for Spiritual Communion.

From this week onwards we are livestreaming services every day and you will find these on our Facebook page (the Parish of Newton, Nottage and Porthcawl) .
Services on Wednesdays and Sundays can be found on this website.
The Mass will be said each weekday at the usual times, but now in All Saints. We will use the same ‘visioning’ to remember those who would (or should!) worship at those times. There will be additional material on the website for Holy Week and Easter and more broadcasts too

If you are part of the parish and on the web, please let us have your e-mail. We will use stamps only if we have to!

As  Covid-19 takes a tighter grip on our society and on the world we pray for those researching for better treatment and especially for those who work in our Health Service; we pray for the safety and protection of all healthworkers and caregivers, as we pray for those in their care. We give thanks for our local shopkeepers and shopworkers, together with the volunteers who are fetching and delivering to the housebound and vulnerable. We pray for those in government in Cardiff and Westminster and all whose decisions affect our life day by day.
