July 8th on the Green
11am Bells are rung
12 noon Official Opening
At Glastonbury they have a ‘headline act’ – someone like the Rolling Stones or Ed Sheeran. At our Fayre we have a number of headline acts including the Rock Choir, the Performance House and, of course, the semi finalists in the Wales’ Got Talent competition, Elindia’s Belly Dancers!
The winner of the poster competition will open the Fayre and the posters will be displayed in church on the day. A magician, Loopy Lewis, is coming along to entertain the children and guitarist, Mark Gardiner, will be playing in church during the afternoon. A bouncy castle has been booked and all the usual table top games will be out including, by popular request, ‘Splat the Rat’. The tug of war between the Jolly Sailor and the Globe will round off the day. Refreshments, burgers, Pimms, cakes, ice creams, hog roast, country market, books, bric-a-brac, tombola, handbags, L’Oreal products-all these and more.
If you have a raffle prize, books, bric-a-brac, costume jewellery, old handbags or accessories, cakes, jams or chutneys you would like to donate, please deliver them to the schoolroom or contact me. By email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 785628.
And best of all just come along and enjoy the day.
