Porthcawl RNLI crew members James Powell and Angharad Masson are joining the RNLI Sponsored Bike Ride from Poole to Porthcawl. The ride is in aid of research into children’s cancer and in thanksgiving for the too-short life of Hugo Misson.
The cycle journey begins on the 6th of September, bright and early from Poole Lifeboat Station and returning to Porthcawl Lifeboat Station on the 8th of September. The ride is 180 miles and a LOT of hills!
There are sponsorship forms in each of the churches if you would like to help. Monies raised go to Our Buoy Hugo’s Fund which is part of CCGL (Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group) which raises funds to research into ATRT (Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumour).
