On Passion Sunday, 18th March, and to mark this centenary year of the ending of WW1, we are singing extracts from Karl Jenkins’ renowned choral work “The Armed Man”. We are a group of people who enjoy singing – a combination of Parish and invited choristers – and are under the baton of Roger Hudd. Roger is well known and respected in musical circles, in particular for his organising and musical directorship of the annual charity production of Gilbert and Sullivan operettas.
The performance is at All Saints Chruch, starting at approximately 11.45am (after the 10am morning service). The singing will be around half an hour, following which wine and nibbles will be available at the back of the church.
As in past years, this promises to be a fulfilling, enjoyable and very sociable occasion and well worth supporting. Please join us.
