Congratulations John Berry BEM

Huge congratulations to John Berry who has been awarded the Order of the British Empire Medallist (BEM) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list. The award is “for services to Young People in the UK and Abroad and the community in Northern Ireland.” Very well deserved, John, and appreciated by all in the Parish. Congratulations!

200 Club – thank you Margaret

Congratulations to the winners of the November and January draws. Many, many thanks to all who have helped and supported the 200 Club. The two very pleasant coffee mornings raised over £300. January was our final draw of the current period, and also sadly the last 200 Club of this committee. Unfortunately due to ill health, I am not able to run the club anymore.…

Building Works at St John’s

Taliesin Conservation Ltd will begin the works at St John’s on Monday 8th February 2016. The work is to be completed at the latest by Palm Sunday. Sunday services will be unaffected; weekday services will take place in the Schoolroom. Collection for Refugee Crisis

In response to the Refugee Crisis, we will work together through Christian Aid for a project, perhaps a family tent or other provision that we cannot make individually. There will be a retiring collection for this on Sunday 20 September. Thank you for your generosity.
